A Romantic Fall Wedding at Milea Estate Vineyard in the Hudson Valley

There's something special about photographing a fall wedding at Milea Estate Vineyard in the Hudson Valley, especially when the surrounding hills are covered in shades of gold, orange, and red. As a New York wedding photographer, I love how the changing seasons can completely transform a venue, and Jason & Jing's October wedding couldn't have come at a more beautiful time of year.

With sweeping vineyard views, elegant details, and a relaxed, intimate atmosphere, their wedding was a perfect example of how a thoughtful celebration can feel both sophisticated and personal.

An Elegant Start to the Day

The day began with getting-ready portraits in the beautiful interiors of the Milea Estate getting ready house. The bride wore a stunning strapless satin gown with a full, flowing skirt, paired with delicate jewelry and a classic updo. The simplicity of her look was effortlessly elegant, and the soft natural light made for some of my favorite bridal portraits.

The groom kept things equally timeless in a black tuxedo and bow tie.

Before seeing each other, the couple shared a quiet moment of anticipation with a first look surrounded by the colorful autumn trees. It's always one of my favorite parts of a wedding day, giving couples a chance to slow down and enjoy a moment together before the celebrations begin.

Fall Wedding Portraits Among the Vineyards

One of the best things about getting married at Milea Estate Vineyard is the scenery. Located in Staatsburg, New York, the property offers expansive vineyard views, rolling hills, and some of the most beautiful fall foliage in the Hudson Valley.

We made the most of the landscape, wandering between the vines and taking portraits overlooking the surrounding countryside. The bride's flowing gown and veil looked especially beautiful against the warm autumn colors.

I loved the contrast between the couple's classic, understated style and the vibrant scenery. The photographs feel timeless, but also capture exactly what made their October wedding so special.

Thoughtful Details and a Cozy Reception

The reception embraced a natural, understated aesthetic, with white florals, soft greenery, candlelight, and warm wood accents. Calla lilies and delicate floral arrangements complemented the vineyard setting without competing with the surrounding beauty.

As the evening continued, the atmosphere shifted from the bright colors of the afternoon to the warmth of an intimate celebration.

Some of my favorite photographs from the day are the candid moments: the couple laughing with their guests, sharing a quiet moment together at dinner, and simply enjoying the people around them. Those moments always end up being just as meaningful as the portraits.

Getting Married at Milea Estate Vineyard

For couples planning a Hudson Valley vineyard wedding, Milea Estate is a beautiful choice, particularly in the fall. Between the scenic grounds, vineyard rows, and beautiful indoor spaces, there are so many opportunities for photographs throughout the day.

J & J's wedding was a wonderful reminder that elegance doesn't have to mean extravagance. Sometimes it's simply a beautiful setting, thoughtful details, and a celebration that feels true to the couple.
