New York City Elopement Photographer

Eloping in New York City can be as simple and meaningful as saying your vows under the trees in Central Park or exchanging rings on the steps of City Hall. As a New York City elopement photographer, I photograph elopements with a documentary approach that captures the real moments.

Whether we’re wandering through the park after your ceremony or celebrating outside the Manhattan Marriage Bureau.  With gentle prompts and natural, easy posing, I help you feel comfortable so your images reflect the relaxed, genuine connection you share.

FAQ

What exactly is an elopement?

An elopement is an intentional wedding experience that focuses on the two of you, rather than a large guest list. It can be just the couple, or include a small group of loved ones. Elopements can happen anywhere, from the Manhattan courthouse to the waterfront at sunset, and are often more relaxed than traditional weddings.

How many hours of coverage do you offer?

Elopement coverage is flexible and customized to your day. Most couples choose anywhere from two to four hours of coverage, depending on their plans. This allows time for getting ready, a first look, portraits, the ceremony, and exploring your location without feeling rushed.

Do you help with planning or timelines?

Yes. One of the biggest benefits of eloping is freedom, and I help you make the most of it. I assist with timeline guidance, lighting considerations, and pacing so your day feels natural and unhurried. If you are unsure where to start, I am happy to help you think through the flow of the day.

We are awkward in front of the camera. Is that okay?

Absolutely. Most of my couples tell me this before booking. My approach is gentle, supportive, and very low pressure. I guide you when needed, but focus on natural movement and real connection so nothing feels forced. You do not need to know how to pose. You just need to show up as yourselves.

Can you help us choose a location?

Yes. Whether you already have a location in mind or are starting from scratch, I help guide you toward locations that photograph beautifully and fit your vision. I also take into account lighting, privacy, accessibility, and timing so the experience feels seamless.

How many photos will we receive and when?

You will receive a carefully curated gallery of fully edited images that tell the story of your day from start to finish. The number of images varies based on coverage length, but is generally between 60 and 90 images per hour. Elopement galleries are delivered within four weeks.

How much does it cost?
